On the 23rd of January, 2023, Royal English Academy took a major step toward humanitarian service by organizing Blood Donation Camp 1.0. The event was held in direct collaboration with the prestigious Cachar Cancer Hospital, Silchar, aiming to address the critical need for blood units for cancer patients and emergency surgeries.
The program was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Circle Officer of Nilambazar, Mr. Sajjad Hussain, who commended the institution for fostering a spirit of selfless service among the community.
Expert Leadership and Medical Support
The success of the camp was made possible through the able leadership of Mr. Kalyan Chakroborty, Founder Member of the Cachar Cancer Hospital Society, and Dr. Shobnam Bahar Barbhuiya, In-charge of the Blood Bank at Cachar Cancer Hospital Silchar. A dedicated team of medical professionals and technicians worked seamlessly to ensure a safe and efficient donation process.
Thanks to the overwhelming participation of donors, the camp successfully collected over 30 units of blood. This contribution is more than just a statistic; it represents dozens of lives that can now be saved through the generosity of our community.
